with CMSI, Inc. PM Tuning Racing Products, Ltd. of Lancashire, U.K. and CMSI, Inc. of Preston, Washington, USA, announced they have signed a formal contract to bring PM Tuning’s renowned racing products to the Americas. CMSI will be the exclusive distributor for all of PM Tuning Racing Products in North, South and Central America. Founded in 1979, PM Tuning has developed performance enhancing products and systems in the U.K. and Europe to please the highly developed scooter “after-market” racing and exhibition aficionados. In addition to its existing line of products, PM Tuning will research and dynooptimize several of CMSI’s scooter engines and transmissions. This will enable them to team with the Seattle-area company to develop performance enhancing kits and systems for the Lambretta and TN’G product lines, enabling them to enter and win in the “racing circuit” with PM’s hottest products. CMSI President Tom Lynott said, “This partnership fits perfectly with our decision to position our new scooters as high performance leaders in their class. PM Tuning’s founder and technical staff are unique in their racing experience and technical savvy developed over the last 25 years.” “Even though the U.S. tuning market is relatively immature in comparison with Europe, many folks here know of PM Tuning’s years of experience and their reputation as one of the most respected tuning products providers to demanding race enthusiasts,” Lynott said. “Our work with Piaggio, Spa and PM Tuning sets CMSI apart as real players in the high performance field.” Paul Melici, owner and founder of PM Tuning Racing Products, Ltd., said, “CMSI was the logical partner for us to enter the emerging scooter markets in North and South America. Their dedication to and allocation of resources for customer support, coupled with their continuing development of innovative products for this growing market, make this a very exciting development for all of us in the industry.”
